gridDigIt Kft. was established in 2020 with the objective to provide state of the art digital, innovative and interoperable tools and solutions. It provides consultancy services mainly in the following areas:
- power system analysis and modelling,
- networks models and data management,
- IEC CIM (Common Information Model), CGMES (Common Grid Model Exchange Standard),
- conformity of IEC CIM related standards,
- interoperability aspects of grid models exchange,
- research, development and innovation activities
- training covering above topics.
OUR TEAM
Dr. Chavdar Ivanov, the founder and Managing Director of the company, has more than 20 years of experience in the activities of transmission system operators mainly in the areas of power system analysis, power system modelling, data/model management and R&D. He holds M.Sc. and PhD. degrees in power system engineering. Dr. Ivanov directed major CIM interoperability tests in Europe between 2008 and 2016. He has been working with Bulgarian TSO (ESO EAD), UCTE (which became part of ENTSO-E in 2009), ENTSO-E and one of the German TSOs (TenneT TSO GmbH). Dr. Ivanov has been a member of UCAIug Board of Directors between 2013-2023, furthermore, he is involved in IEC standardisation efforts as a member of IEC TC 57 WG13, WG14, WG16 and WG19, CENELEC TC57 and TC88 WG27 and CIGRE.
Said Cosic, Power System Modelling and Analysis Engineer, has M.Sc. degree in power system engineering and has been involved in DSO network development projects. He is PhD candidate at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). His main field of interest is power system stability. Mr. Cosic mainly supports consultancy activities related to power system modelling, analysis and related data exchanges.
Bence Szirbik has M.Sc. degree in power system engineering (Specialization of Power Systems and E-mobility). He was working with MAVIR – the Hungarian TSO. His main field of interest is power system modelling. Mr. Szirbik mainly supports consultancy activities related to scripting/automation of power system analysis and related data exchanges.
Mate Zsebehazi is BSc candidate in Computer Science and Technologies. He is supporting gridDigIt activities by developing applications using Python, Java, and C#.
