Chavdar is the founder and Managing Director of the company, has more than 25 years of experience in the activities of transmission system operators mainly in the areas of power system analysis, power system modelling, data & model management and R&D. He holds M.Sc. and PhD. degrees in power system engineering. In his professional carrier he was working with multiple companies in Europe and North America. Dr. Ivanov has been a member of UCAIug Board of Directors between 2013-2023 and member of numerous steering groups in European Union structures. He is actively involved in IEC standardisation efforts as a member of IEC TC 57 WG13, WG14, WG16 and WG19, CENELEC TC57, TC88 WG27. He is Senior member of IEEE and CIGRE member. Dr. Ivanov received multiple international recognitions among which IEC 1906 Award – awarded for leadership in power system modelling and data exchange technology and Power Networks Europe 2018 Award for the outstanding contribution in innovation to the European electricity grids, awarded by ENTSO-E and EDSO-SG.
